There are reports that the autopsy and toxicology test carried out on the body of the late Nigerian rapper/ songwriter Ilerioluwa Aloba MOHBAD has detected a drug reaction as the possible cause of his death on September 12th 2023.
Samples of the late singer’s gastric contents, blood, bone marrow, liver, kidney, and lungs were said to have been taken for medical investigations which was conducted at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital Ikeja.

The test report was said to have indicated traces of Diphenhydramine; an antihistamine and sedative used mainly in the treatment of allergies, insomnia, and symptoms of common cold; which could be ingested orally or injected into the vein or muscle.
The autopsy report was however, said to have revealed that the concentration of the drug was not fatal or lethal to harm or lead to Mohbad’s death.
Recall 8 months after the singer’s death, forensic investigation had it that the autopsy conducted on the singer’s remains could not ascertain the cause of his death as made public by Professor Sunday Soyemi of the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine at the Lagos State University College of Medicine.
