Edo State Government has given the State Police Command seven days to unravel the circumstances surrounding the twenty mummified corpses recently discovered in a private building in Benin City.
This was disclosed by the Special Adviser to Governor Godwin Obaseki on Media Projects, Crusoe Osagie at a media briefing held by Officials of the State Government and the Police Command in Benin.

Crusoe Osagie says the ultimatum to unravel the truth about the corpses will go a long way in dousing tensions given the speculations which have trailed their discovery.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Olawore Oluwole reveals that five persons have been arrested so far and affirmed that the matter will be thoroughly investigated.
