There are indications that Nigerian Afropop R&B stars, Peter and Paul Okoye and their elder brother; music executive Jude Okoye are at loggerheads over financial mismanagement of the family’s investment and royalties.

Trouble allegedly began when a company was said to have offered to buy the Okoye brother’s music catalog and therefore requested financial transparency and account statements of the property.

One of the twin brothers Peter, Mr P’s investigation led to a revelation that their elder brother, Jude who oversees their company Northside Entertainment had been allegedly diverting funds to a new company with his wife as a director.

The anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC was said to have been involved in the dispute which led to the alleged detention of Jude in their custody.

It however took the timely intervention of the former President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Amaju Pinnick who
signed the bail bond for his release.
