Muslims in Jos, the Plateau State capital, trooped to various prayer grounds across the city to celebrate this year’s Eid-El-Kabir festival.
At the Asas Mosque in Dadin Kowa, the Eid prayers were led by Imam Ibrahim Alhassan, with a large turnout of worshippers in attendance.
The faithful called on Nigerians to imbibe the lessons of the celebration, which include sacrifice, obedience, peace, and unity.
The high point of the celebration was the traditional slaughtering of the ram performed by the Imam in commemoration of the festival.
