The Director-General of National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Person (NAPTIP), Julie Donli-Okah has called on law enforcement officers, the Judiciary and key players, to stand in the fight against rape in Nigeria.
Julie stated this while unveiling the Cover Me project aimed at exposing perpetrators of rape and gender based violence.
She added that over 54 cases of rape have been recorded during this period of the COVID-19 Pandermic.
The convener of the project, Ugo Harris said that the project would also help with proper clothings for the less privilege which is a rising factor, leading to rape.

He also said that rape and other forms of Sexual and Gender Based Violence is a form of war on the peace of mind of victims.
