The lawmaker representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has promised her constituents more impactful projects and quality representation if re-elected to the National Assembly in 2027.
The PDP senatorial candidate made the pledge during a homecoming campaign tour spanning the five local government areas of Kogi Central.
During the tour, she urged residents to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and actively protect their votes on election day.
She was accompanied by a long convoy of supporters as she travelled from Abuja to her hometown.
Apart from lawmaking at the highest level in the country, the senator has attracted notable human development initiatives, cutting across education, health, infrastructure, and youth entrepreneurship.
She began by thanking her constituents for the unwavering backing
During her stops in Adavi, Okene, and Okehi, the lawmaker laid out her campaign pillars of social justice and economic development.
She emphasized that eligible voters must collect their PVCs to ensure their voices are heard at the polls.
Akpoti-Uduaghan urged voters to judge political officeholders by their track records and tangible achievements rather than empty rhetoric.
Acknowledging the competitive race ahead, the lawmaker called for peaceful campaigns.
The senator is expected to expand her mobilization drive to remaining wards across Kogi Central in the coming days as the campaign gathers momentum.
The rally concluded in a celebratory mood with fireworks, music, and dances as party faithful expressed optimism for her consolidation bid.
