The Edo State Police command has arrested a nineteen-year-old man, Timothy Dauda for the murder of one Alex Ezekiel in Omunu Community in Akoko Edo local government area of Edo state.
The arrest was contained in a press release made available to journalists by the command’s public relations officer PPRO Joel Yamu on Monday
According to the image maker, operatives of Igarra Police Division arrested the suspect Timothy Dauda who is a native doctor for shooting the victim with a gun after he claimed to have prepared a charm to fortify the victim against gunshots and machete cut.
Yama in the press release said it was while he was trying to test the efficacy of the charm on Alex Ezekiel by shooting him that he sustained fatal gunshot injuries that led to his death despite efforts to revive him at an hospital in igarra.
The Suspect according to SP Yamu will face prosecution as soon as investigations were concluded.
