NCDC confirms 166 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control has confirmed 166 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria;

Delta State tops the list with 36.

It is followed by the Federal Capital Territory, FCT with 22.

Rivers has 21, Lagos-20,
Anambra-18, Ondo-17.

Others include Oyo-8, Kebbi-6, Enugu and Plateau-5 each, Ebonyi-3 and Kano-2.

Bayelsa, Ekiti and Jigawa have 1 each.

So far, 211,496 have been confirmed, 202,930 discharged while the country registered 2,886 deaths.

Today’s report includes 6 confirmed cases reported from Kebbi State for October 26th 2021, 5 confirmed cases reported from Enugu State for October 26th 2021, 20 discharged cases reported from Enugu State for October 26th 2021, while the 5 discharged cases reported from Taraba State for October 26th are community discharges.

2 deaths were reported from Lagos State for October 26th (1) & 27th (1) 2021.

5 states with zero cases reported 5: Bauchi, Gombe, Ogun, Osun and Sokoto.
