The Nigerian Defence Academy has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing its curriculum, aligning with global best practices, to tackle contemporary security challenges in the nation.
The Commandant of the Academy, Major General John Ochai, said this at the 12th Matriculation Ceremony for Cadets of the 75 Regular Course in Kaduna State, Northwest Nigeria.
The Matriculation Ceremony officially welcomes Cadets into the Nigerian Defence Academy, after a rigorous seven-week orientation, beginning on August 26.
Major General John Ochai, the academy’s commandant, congratulated the cadets for successfully navigating the demanding admission process.
He urged them to stay resolute in their training, emphasising the importance of conquering challenges hindering them from fulfilling constitutional responsibilities.
General Ochai reiterated the academy’s commitment to improving its curriculum, to meet the evolving requirements of addressing the nation’s security challenges.
The Special Guest of Honour Ahmed Galadima whose message was delivered by Dr. Zubairu Surajo, advised the cadets to cultivate a hunger for excellence, as a key to their success.
441 cadets, including allied cadets from Gambia, underwent matriculation.
