The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, says it has recorded approximately N8.53 billion in total revenue, spent N2.40 billion, and retained a cash balance of about N6.13 billion.
The party’s National Treasurer, Peter Onigah, disclosed this at the party’s third National Executive Committee, NEC meeting held in Abuja, on Monday.
Onigah said the party is committed to financial prudence and transparency, adding that a detailed breakdown will be provided at the end of its first accounting year, while appealing for more financial support from Nigerians.
Earlier, NDC National Chairman, Moses Cleopas Zuwoghe set the tone for the meeting focused on finance and organisational priorities.
Zuwoghe added that the party remains committed to accountability and sustained financial support remains essential to achieving its political objectives.
