In a statement signed by the Director, Corporate Affairs NDDC, Ibitoyi Abosade, the commission said its attention has been drawn to a spurious publication in some news dailies and online news channels by the Spokesperson of an Ijaw Youth Group, Ebilade Ekerefe.
Abosade therefore urged members of the pubic to disregard those spurious lies masterminded, fabricated and orchestrated by persons who are positioning their relatives and associates for ultimate appointment into the Board of the NDDC.
He said the NDDC under the interim administration Effiong Akwa remained focused and prudent in the management of its resources for the benefit of the people of the Niger Delta region and committed to the vision of President Muhammadu Buhari.
