The Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC has trained two hundred women in Rivers state on small scale business incubation.
The managing director of the NDDC Samuel ogbuku says the gesture is part of activities marking the celebration of the international women’s day in for Rivers state women.
The Two hundred women were selected across the twenty three local government areas of Rivers state and were empowered by the NDDC on how to launch and manage successful small scale enterprises.

Some of the beneficiaries commended the NDDC for the training and empowerment.
Lectures were presented by officials of NAFDAC on quality assurance and regulatory compliance and the Nigerian export promotion council on non-oil opportunities, export procedures and certification.
