The Niger Delta development commission NDDC, is proposing an expenditure of one point seven five trillion naira for 2025 fiscal year.

The figure was announced during the NDDC 2025 budget conference and Partnership for Sustainable Development (PSD) Forum in Port Harcourt.

The PSD forum is an initiative of NDDC to ensure that stakeholders across the nine states of the oil rich Niger Delta region, state governments, oil and gas companies and development partners engage, in order to reduce wastage and project duplication as well as ensure community participation.

Chairman of the NDDC, Chiedu Ebie and the Managing Director of the NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku, said the commission is focused on completion of legacy projects and implementation of programmes and policies that would change the narrative of underdevelopment within the region.
