National Drug Law Enforcement Agency( NDLEA), Kano command on Thursday led thousands of drug reduction crusaders on a sensitisation walk across the metropolitan area of the state.
The anti-drug sensitisation walk, which was attended by scores of youths, Non-governmental Organisations (NGOs) kicked off from the state headquarters of the agency.

The anti-drug abuse sensitization walk according to the Deputy Director of the agency, Habibu Khalifa, was aimed at enlightening residents of the state on the dangers of drug abuse and the need to stay away from hard drugs.
He expressed hope that the sensitisation would result in a major change of hearts among drug suppliers and consumers in the state.
The agency said it will not relent in its fight against illicit drugs, which it said has become prevalent among the youths.
