The new Commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Major General John Ochai says, his priority will be to improve the cadets, sustain their training to be fully fit and to accomplish any assigned mission when they pass out.
Major General Ochai said this, during the handing/taking over ceremony in Kaduna.
It is the change of baton at the helm of the Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA, Kaduna, as Major General John Ochai, takes over from Major General Yusuf Manu, as the 32nd commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy.
The new commandant at a brief handing-over ceremony, said his focus will be to improve the cadets.
The ceremony dovetailed into the pulling-out parade for Major General Yusuf Manu, who is retiring from the military after 35 years of meritorious service.

General Manu advised the cadets to be dedicated, hardworking and disciplined, to be successful in their military careers.
He also appealed to Nigerians to support the Armed Forces and other security agencies to address the nation’s security challenges.
General Manu was pulled out of the academy as the 31st commandant, as he bid farewell to the military.
