The Zone Five Police Command Benin has announced April 13, 2023, as the resumption date of Arungwa Nwazue Udo as the assistant inspector general of police AIG in charge of Zone 5 comprising Edo, Delta and Bayelsa states.
His deployment is coming almost two months after the death of the zone’s former AIG, Tanko Jimeta.
A press release by the zone’s public relations officer Momoh Tijani says the
Arungwa Nwazue Udo, hails from Abia State and was born on 7th of May,1965.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the Ekiti State University, a Higher National Diploma Certificate in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, India and a Diploma Certificate in Law from the Pan African Institute of Paralegal Studies, Abuja.
Arungwa Udo has served in various units and commands and was the Commissioner of Police, Admin, Force Intelligence Bureau, before he was promoted to the rank of an Assistant Inspector-General of Police and deployed as the AIG Zone 5 Benin.
AIG Arungwa Udo while pledging to consolidate on the existing collaboration with stakeholders solicits, for the cooperation of the good people of the Zone, to assist the Police with useful and timely information that will enhance In checkmating crimes and criminality in the entire Zone.
