President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with President of the ECOWAS Commission, Omar Touray and leader of the ECOWAS delegation to Niger Republic’s military junta, Retired General Abdulsalami Abubakar at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Also attending the meeting is the National Security Adviser (NSA) to the President, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
President Tinubu is Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
Though Journalists are yet to be briefed on the agenda of the meeting, a source revealed that it may not be unconnected to efforts aimed at resolving the current political and security crisis in Niger Republic.
