The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has given domestic airlines the go-ahead to serve pre-packaged meals sealed in containers to their passengers while disembarking from flights.
The NCAA in a letter to all airline operators and catering services however insists that no foods shall be served or consumed on any domestic flight, adding that catering service providers have been identified by the authority as one of the key players required to put in place Covid-19 risk management measures to assure the travelling public that catering products served on board flights are not a potential source of Covid 19 infection.

With the resumption of domestic flight operations in the country, in-flight catering companies were required to carry out a regular risk assessment of their operations and put in place remedial actions to address any identify any possibility of a spread of Covid-19 to passengers through their products
