The Nigeria Export Promotion Council says it is establishing Export Trade Houses in different countries to give visibility to made in Nigeria goods and services.
Kogi State Coordinator of the Council, Amina Abdulmalik, who said this at a sensitization workshop in Lokoja, organized for owners of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, said the initiative will put an end to the barriers associated with marketing made in Nigeria products in the global marketplace.
She said Nigeria, over the years, depended on crude oil as its major source of revenue with the importation of all kinds of goods which has discouraged local production.
