The last time the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, reported Covid-19 death in the country was Saturday. This means Nigeria has gone one week without recording any death from Covid-19 related complications. The death toll in the country remains 1,113.
Meanwhile, 151 new Covid-19 infections have been reported in 10 states in the last 24 hours as the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria rises to 59,992.
States with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-71; Ogun-26; Kaduna-17; Osun-10; Oyo-8; FCT and Rivers-6 each:
Plateau-5; Akwa Ibom and Ekiti-1.

The NCDC figures also show that 63 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours bringing total number of successfully treated cases to 51,614.
