The national rescue movement, NRM, has vowed to keep rejecting any monetary offer for its presidential candidate to step down for a consensus presidential candidate in the 2027 elections.
The national chairman of the party Chinedu Ohamadike disclosed this at the media briefing of the presidential campaign council for the 2027 polls in Abuja, expressing disappointment over the ruling all progressives congress, APC’s failure to improve numbers of women’ representation in elective positions.
The opposition said political parties and the independent National Electoral Commission, INEC showed more commitment for the 2023 elections than the 2027, expressing fear that the coming elections may not be as credible as the previous one.

The NRM noted that the deepening insecurity in nigeria will also be a major factor to the outcome of the 2027 polls if the Tinubu’s administration fails to improve on security.
