The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 182 new Covid-19 infections in 16 states with the total number of confirmed cases in the country rising to 8,915.
The 182 new infections are in Lagos-111, FCT-16, Akwa Ibom-10, Oyo-8, Kaduna and Delta-6 each. Others include Rivers-5, Ogun and Ebonyi-4 each, Kano-3, Plateau, Kwara and Gombe-2 each, 1 each in Kebbi, Bauchi, Borno.
Meanwhile, 91 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across the country bringing number of successfully treated cases to 2,592.

There are 5 Covid-19 fatalities recorded across the country in the last 24 hours taking death toll to 259.
