Nigeria has signed a revised Bilateral Air Services Agreement, BASA, with Morocco.

The agreement was signed at the International Civil Aviation Organisation Global Implementation Support Symposium, ICAO-GISS, in Marrakech, by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.

The deal is part of high-level engagements at the global aviation summit. It is expected to strengthen air transport relations between both countries by improving connectivity, expanding commercial opportunities, and boosting cooperation across the aviation sector.

On the sidelines of the summit, the minister also held talks with the leadership of the International Civil Aviation Organisation and the European Union.
