President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Musa Nimrod, says there is a need for state associations to organise more competitions, to improve the players and enhance their development in volleyball.
Nimrod said this at the finals of the Kaduna Beach Volleyball Championship at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna State, North-West Nigeria.

A total of 43 teams took part in the three-day Kaduna Beach Volleyball Championship, which was meant to scout for younger players, that would replace the ageing ones.
Some of the players told journalists after the tournament, that they are showing some level of consistency, due to the exposure to more competitions.
