The Chairperson of the Nigeria Women Football League, Aisha Falode, has affirmed that the women’s league body has the mandate to evolve into a global brand, capable of competing favourably with top leagues around the world.
Falode formerly of Daar Plc, said this at the NWFL-LaLiga Coaches Online Training Masterclass aimed at taking coaches in various clubs in Nigeria to greater heights.
The programme in partnership with LaLiga is a step further in the development of the game with the LaLiga women’s league, an activation point of the MoU signed in 2018 between the two bodies.

At the online training programme Falode also a Caf media committee member expressed her gratitude to the entire LaLiga team for their help and commitment at making the programme a reality.
She noted that “ One of the best ways to celebrate the 30 years of NWFL existence is to improve the quality of women’s league to attract sponsorship and fans support.
Falode, a board member of the Nigeria Football Federation, stressed that, the coaches must also take up the responsibility of improving themselves and their teams,with quality play towards professionalism.

The 3day online Master classes training with the theme “The Competitive Micro-cycle and Training Session Structure in Elite Women’s Football” ended this Wednesday.
