The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, has emphasised that physical fitness and sound mental health are essential to maintaining an effective and operationally ready force.

Represented by the Chief of Policy and Plans, Nigerian Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Abdullahi, Air Marshal Aneke said officers must embrace physical exercise as a daily routine to improve their overall health, wellness, and operational effectiveness.

Regular exercise is a powerful and cost-effective way to improve both physical and mental health.

Consistent physical activity enhances mood, boosts energy levels, supports weight management, and significantly reduces the risk of chronic diseases.

Emphasising the importance of fitness in military operations, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, said personnel must engage in regular exercise to maintain peak performance, remain combat-ready, and enhance operational productivity.
