Nigerian Army kills twelve top Boko Haram Commanders

Twelve Top Boko Haram/ ISWAP Commanders and other members of the terrorist group, on revenge mission at Damasak, Borno State have been killed.

A statement by the Director Army Public Relations Brigadier General Muhammad Yerima says, a week-long Air and ground operations in different parts of Borno State by the Nigerian military killed the Criminals, and their weapon storage facility destroyed in the air raid conducted by the Air Component of Operation Lafiya Dole.

Three soldiers and some civilians however lost their lives in the encounter, several Arms were captured, others destroyed while some houses were also burnt by the Terrorists.

The Military also expressed displeasure as some locals in Damasak, are alleged to be working as informants to Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists.
