The Kaduna State Government has confirmed the rescue of ten persons who were kidnapped by gunmen at the Kaduna Airport Staff Quarters about two weeks ago.
The state Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan who confirmed this to journalists at a news conference in Kaduna, said the victims were rescued by the Nigerian Army.

Aruwan said, eight of the ten victims rescued are members of the same family. While appreciating the troops for their effort, the commissioner also assured that the government is working to rescue other kidnap victims.
