Analysts in Yenagoa the Bayelsa state capital have called on the President Buhari- led Federal Government to take a critical look at the operations of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company limited NNPCL in ensuring that all funds in their possession were paid into the national coffers.
The call is coming few days after the NNPCL renewed its request for the total removal of fuel Subsidy
Recently, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited NNPCL disclosed that the amount spent on fuel subsidy could provide 7500 kilometers of road network at Four Hundred million Naira per kilometer and 37 well equipped 120 bed tertiary health centers at thirty-two billion naira per hospital annually.
The analysts while reacting to the assertion said there were countries paying fuel subsidy and still doing well compared to Nigeria.

They added the failure for proper remittance from the NNPCL and corruption were the reasons the nation had not reached where it ought to be infrastructurally.
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited is the agency in charge of managing the sales of the nation’s crude oil.
