For many Nigerians, a simple health check can uncover a problem they never knew they had.
Several residents of Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State had this first-hand experience when a free medical outreach revealed that their blood pressure was dangerously high.
This was just one of many health challenges recorded during the four-day health programme organised by the 2027 APC House of Assembly candidate, Ifeanyichukwu Nnamani.
Here at St. John Primary School, Agbani, residents received free checks for blood pressure, diabetes, eye problems, HIV screening, hepatitis and syphilis, as well as consultations, treatment and medication.
Wheelchairs and medicated glasses were also distributed.
For many residents, it was an opportunity to discover health conditions they did not know they had, while others received treatment for illnesses they had been managing, this time, without worrying about the cost.
Ifeanyichukwu Nnamani describes the outreach as a compassionate way of giving back, saying he has sustained similar interventions for over a decade.
