NLC perpetuating illegality in Labour Party – Lamidi Apapa faction

The Lamidi Apapa led faction of the labour party has given a 7 day ultimatum to the Nigeria Labour Congress NLC to stop all acts of interferrence in the composition of the Labour Party structure or face legal consequences going forward.

National Publicity Secretary of the faction, Abayomi Arabambi who gave the indication on Friday in Abeokuta said the move by the Joe Ajero led NLC on the appointment of one Ejiofor as the Chairman of BOT of Labour party was not just illegal but unacceptable to the faction.

The latest position by the Lamidi Apapa faction of the labour party is just one in the series of internal crisis that has rocked the party in recent months and coming in the midst of the picketing of the National headquarters of the party by the NLC.

The National Publicity Secretary of the faction , Abayomi Arabambi, called on the NLC to step aside and allow the labour party resolve its internal crisis through established legal processes

The Apapa led faction said it remains steadfast in the actualisation of true democracy for Nigeria, calling on third forces planning to destroy the party to have a rethink.
