There has been partial compliance with the nationwide strike called by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congress, TUC, over the brutalization of NLC President Joe Ajaero.
A visit to the Federal Secretariat showed that civil servants were going about their business like nothing was happening.
Some banking halls visited also have customers going in and out freely.

The filling stations were wide open, as of the time of this report.
The streets of Abuja have remained busy as usual, with no form of restraint.
However, AIT found that the monitoring and enforcement teams of the NLC and TUC are moving around offices to ensure full compliance.
