The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, in Plateau State says it is in full compliance with the directive from its national body to embark on an indefinite strike until those who molested the NLC President are brought to book.
The Plateau State NLC Chairman, Eugene Manji, said all government institutions in the state are in total support of the strike.

Gates to the state and federal secretariats and public schools were shut down, as workers and students were barred from gaining access.
Residents of the state are hopeful that the government and the NLC will come up with a positive resolution to the crisis.
