The Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC has threatened to boycott a meeting with the Federal Government scheduled for Monday to review implementation of Memorandum of agreements signed on October 3. 2023.
NLC President Joe Ajaero came out with this at a news briefing in Abuja on Sunday
Ajaero says Labour will walk out of the meeting called by the chief of staff to President, Femi Gbajabiamila, should the minister of Labour and Employment, Solomon Lalong is invited, following accusation that he has taken some steps to truncate the MoU.

On developments in Imo state, the NLC President says it is going ahead to shutdown the State on Wednesday, November 1, despite reports that the state government has obtained an injunction from the national industrial court stopping the action.
NLC had threatened to stage a protest in Imo State over issues bordering on unpaid salaries and unfriendly labour practices
