Bruce Fein, the American counsel to detained self acclaimed leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has summoned the Nigerian government before the office of the tunited Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, in Geneva, over his detention, and forced return to Nigeria from Kenya.
Fein is also demanding his immediate release and quashing of all charges filed against him and described Kanu’s abduction from Kenya and detention in Nigeria, as unlawful, illegal and a gross abuse of his fundamental human rights.

Kanu’s lead Nigerian counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, demands says Kanu must be brought to the court on Thursday to face trial, unlike the last time the case came up.
Fein is also demanding for the sum of fifty million dollars from one Professor Ivan Kasheen from Baltimore University for allegedly publishing an article in the Washington Post, seeking IPOB to be designated as terrorist organisation.
Nnamdi Kanu is expected to appear before the federal high court in abuja on Thursday.
