The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has confirmed the upward adjustment of the petrol pump price at its retail outlets across the country.
In a press statement released on Wednesday, the NNPC Limited says the action was taken in line with “current market realities’.
It also said it regrets the inconvenience this might cause consumers and promised to ensure a ‘ceaseless supply’ of petroleum products.

The action is not unconnected with the pronouncement made by President Bola Tinubu during his inauguration that the era of fuel subsidy is gone
