A faction of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, led by Agbo Major has accused the former board of trustee chairman, Buba Galadima of corruption.
In a statement signed by the acting national publicity secretary, abdulsalam Abdulrasaq, called for a thorough investigation into one billion naira raised from the sale of forms in the 2023 elections.

The faction resolved to invite relevant security agencies to properly examine the party’s accounts.
He said Galadima, the Presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the National Secretary and the former National Chairman of the party must account for the money.
The faction alleges that during the Presidential election primary, kwankwaso resident was deliberately used in order to manipulate election that led to imposition of candidate, after several other aspirants bought the forms to contest the presidential election.
It called on the aspirants who feel agrieved to formally write to the party under the leadership of Agbo Major.
The faction said it has also withdrawn the memorandum of understanding entered into with president Bola Tinubu by the presidential candidate, Kwankwaso, saying that such mou is not in line with the party’s policies of openness and inclusivity.
The faction has already suspended its presidential candidate Rabiu Musa kwankwaso who was also the national leader of party for alleged meeting with president Bola Tinubu.
