The Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP has rejected the Kano governorship election petition judgement, says it is laughable to sack its candidate Abba Yusuf whose victory was glaring.
In a statement, the national chairman of the payrty, kawu Ali said NNPP received the news with disbelief how the tribunal arrived at what it described as unjust judgement.

He said NNPP will appeal the court judgement while calling on members and supporters to remain calm saying the judgement cannot stand.
In a telephone conversation with the national auditor and acting national publicity secretary, Oladipo Johnson said the party is yet to read the judgement and the court has no basis for the sack.
