Normalcy has returned to Jos, the Plateau State capital after restiveness in Naraguta area, a suburb around the Permanent Site of the University of Jos.
This follows the swift combined efforts of the Plateau State Police Command led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Aliyu Tafida and men of the Special Task Force Operation Safe Heaven.
One person was reportedly killed during the unrest while houses, a car and other properties were also destroyed.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Ubah Gabriel while confirming the return of normalcy to AIT said investigation is still ongoing and the public will be provided with details of the findings.
Violence broke out in the community when combined security operatives stormed the area to demolish houses on a disputed land.
