The president, Coalition of Northern States Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (CONSCCIMA), Hezekiah Adediji, has challenged governors in the northern region to partner with the chamber to create job opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths in the area.
Adediji disclosed this in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital while addressing newsmen, he blamed the rising spate of insecurity including insurgency in the region on the unavailability of jobs, pointing out that the ugly situation has turned the jobless youth into willing tools in the hands of mischief-makers.
Adediji while challenging the northern governors to interface with the local chamber of commerce in their respective states, maintained that they are professionals, who could be of help in addressing the problems of unemployment in the country.
