Some Northern Nigerian Youth groups under the auspices of the Northern Alliance for National Cohesion has asked Rivers State Governor , Nyesom Wike to publicly apologize to the northern traditional rulers for comments credited to him where he compared the reverred Othman Danfodio to a third class ruler in his area.
The group which which made its feelings known during a media briefing in Abuja, also cautioned Governor Wike to be guided in his uterances and not drag the name of notable northern traditional leaders to the mud.
The leader of the group, Bello Ibrahim, said the Rivers state Governor will be given the opportunity to apologize and allow peace reign.
He accused Governor Wike of over the years playing God in the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, a situation that will no longer be tolerated.
