The much-anticipated match between Abia Warriors football club and Lobi Stars football club which took place in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, ended goallessly.
To the visiting team, Abia Warriors gained an away point, which was not such a bad outing.
Unlike before the venue, Aper Aku Township Stadium in Markurdi was open to only players, officials and reporters with spectators adviced to view from home in line with COVID-19 protocol on large gathering.
While the home team may be advantaged regarding its placement on the league table, its opponents have more at stake. However, in about 32 minutes of play, the home side got fortunate but the goal was ruled offside by the officials.

The match eventually ended goalless with both teams determined to work on their mistakes and translate their effort into goals moving forward.
