Group A Topper in the Nigeria professional football league, the Insurance football club of Benin, has maintained its one hundred percent record of the start of the League to remain on top of group A, after defeating visiting Remo stars FC from Ogun state three goals to Nil.
The insurance football club had won four out of the four games already and had twelve points.
The insurance football club of Benin got two quick first-half goals from errors on the part of the Remo stars players, the first goal came in the first five minutes from the insurance striker Imade Osehenkhoe and the second goal came in the twenty-second minute from Ismael Seriki.

In the seventy-eighth minute of play, Austin Ogunye sealed the three points for the home team by scoring the third goal.

The defeat suffered by Remo stars has ended their three matches unbeaten run to the campaign while Insurance continued their unbeaten run in the NPFL.
Insurance will travel to Maiduguri on the first of February to play El kanemi Warriors seeking five wins out of five while Remo stars will play host to Enyimba Fc to see if they can redeem themselves from this defeat.
