The Nigerian Railway Corporation NRC says it will resume rail operations on the Abuja Kaduna railway on Tuesday January 31.
This is contained in a statement issued by the corporation through the director, operations and management Niyi Alli.
The NRC says it has also adjusted it’s schedules on the corridor for better service delivery
On the new schedule, the first Kaduna to Abuja train, codenamed KA2 would depart Rigasa at 0700 hours while that of Abuja to Kaduna, codenamed AK1 would depart Idu at 10.00 hours.
Others are KA4 which departs Rigasa at 13.00 hours and AK3 departs Idu at 16.00 hours.

However, on Wednesdays, only KA2 Will depart Rigasa at 0700 hours and AK 3 will depart Idu at 16.00 hours
The Corporation also states that it regrets any inconveniences the passengers may have experienced as a result of the temporary suspension of the service.
The NRC suspended its services due to the derailment of a train within the Kubwa substation on Friday January 27.
