The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Kano State Command, have arrested two persons in connection with alleged armed robbery operations.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Abdullahi, who said the criminals were arrested at Gayawa, in Ungogo Local Government Area of the state.
He explained that the suspects robbed a woman of her smartphone, before robbing another Point of Sale, POS, machine with dangerous weapons.

The statement identified the suspects as Auwalu Ismail, 20, and Abubakar Halilu, 19, both of Danrimi, Rijiyar Lemo Quarters, Fagge Local Government Area in Kano State.
The statement said that investigation is currently ongoing, to trace and apprehend the remaining accomplices before charging them to court.
