Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, FCT Command, have arrested four suspects for allegedly vandalising electrical installations in Abaji, Jahi and Bwari areas of the Federal Capital Territory.
The operations, conducted at three different locations, also led to the recovery of electrical cables and other suspected stolen items.
The FCT Commandant of the NSCDC, Olusola Odumosu, said the suspects were arrested following intelligence-led operations by operatives of the command.
Odumosu said the command had recorded several successes in recent weeks and remained committed to protecting public infrastructure across the FCT and neighbouring communities.
He warned those involved in the vandalism of public assets to desist, stressing that the corps would sustain its operations to bring perpetrators to justice.
Items recovered from the suspects include armoured cables, electrical installations and other materials suspected to have been stolen.
