The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has relocated it’s Orientation Camp in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State due to increase in attacks and killings within communities in the Council area.
ait.live gathered, that the decision came in response to attacks by gunmen in some communities Within Mangu local government area which led to the imposition of a 24-hour curfew in the Council by the state government.
Also confirming the development, the NYSC In a statement signed by Jennifer Laha, head Public Relations Unit of the Plateau State office says the 2023 Batch “B” Stream I Orientation course, scheduled to hold nationwide from Wednesday, 12th July to Tuesday, 1st August, 2023 will now be at Waye Foundation, by Buken Academy, situated in Doi-Du within the Jos South Local Government Area as a temporary site.

According to the statement, the organization enjoins the peace-loving people of Plateau State especially those around Jos South LGA and environs to accord the Prospective Corps Members the usual hospitality that Plateau is known for.
