A ten man criminal gang involved in series of violent crimes in Ogun state have been arrested and paraded by the ogun state police command in abeokuta the state capital.
The state police commissioner Abiodun Alamutu who made the disclosure while parading the suspects on friday said the gang have been terrorizing the community for over a year and have been responsible for such crimes like kidnappings, robberies, including murder of innocent persons within Ogun state before their latest arrest following intelligence report that led police detectives to recover the remains of their victims in a shallow grave inside the japara forest, Ijebu igbo area of the State.
The police commissioner said the ten member criminal gang have made confessional statements that will be used as evidence against them during prosecution in court.
The Police Chief said the gang allegedly killed four persons and buried two of them in shallow graves .
