Okpebholo Commends IPAC For Peaceful Political Climate, Good Governance

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has commended the Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, for contributing to the peaceful political atmosphere in the state.

The governor said the support and cooperation from political parties gave his administration the peace of mind to focus on delivering good governance and development to Edo people.

He spoke when the IPAC leadership, led by its chairman, Bishop Akhalamhe which paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House in Benin City.

Governor Monday Okpebholo says the peaceful atmosphere in Edo State has enabled his administration to concentrate on delivering its development agenda.

The governor credited the Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC and other political stakeholders for their role in sustaining peace, particularly during the recently concluded local government elections.

Earlier, IPAC chairman, in the state Bishop Akhalamhe, commended Governor Okpebholo for what he described as a free, fair and credible local government election.

Akhalamhe said the election was among the best conducted in the state, assuring the governor of IPAC’s continued cooperation with the administration.

In another engagement, Governor Okpebholo inaugurated the chairmen and members of the Ecological Funding and Management Commission and the Edo State Electricity Regulatory Commission.

He charged the new appointees to remain dedicated, focused and committed to serving the people
