Nigeria’s House of Representatives on Wednesday called on the Nigeria Police Force and the National Security Intelligence to immediately commence investigation into the gruesome murder of Oluwabamise Ayanwola inside a BRT bus in Lagos State and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.
The House minority leader, Ndudi Elumelu in a motion of urgent public importance expressed worry over rising cases of violence, incessant cases of rape, and ritual killings of female Nigerians by criminal minded persons in various parts of the country.

Elumelu noted that these incessant attacks and killings are hindering national productivity as it is occurring amongst people in the productive age group who have been adversely affected by the negative trend.
The House particularly want security agencies to investigate allegations that the BRT driver earlier confessed of having canal knowledge of late Bamise before killing and harvesting some vital organs but later retracted after some influential Nigerians intervened.
